- Q - What are your hours of operation?
- A - We are open Monday - Friday 8:00a - 5:00p and on Saturdays 8:00a - 12:00p
- Q - Where are you located?
- A - Used-Bus.com is located at three of the Midwest Transit Equipment locations: Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Click here to view maps and contact information.
- Q - What is your preferred method of payment?
- A - We accept a variety of payment methods, including wire transfer, cash, traveler's checks, certified checks, money orders and credit cards (up to a $1,500 max).
- Q - Is it possible to put a bus on hold? If so, how do I go about doing that?
- A - Yes. Midwest Transit Equipment does have a policy for taking deposits in order to put bus(es) on hold. Please contact a Used-Bus.com sales representative for more details.
- Q - Do used buses come with warranties?
- A - No. Used buses are sold as-is with no warranty, unless the manufacturer warranty remains.
- Q - Do you deliver?
- A - No. Midwest Transit Equipment does not deliver used buses; however, there are several independent drive away companies that will transport anywhere in the USA. Please contact a Used-Bus.com sales representative for more information.
- Q - Do you offer temporary tags to drive the bus away?
- A - Yes. For customers outside of Illinois, we offer a 7 day drive away permit. Illinois residents: the permit is valid for 90 days, and you must apply for plates during that time.
- Q - Do you charge sales tax?
- A - Yes. Sales tax will be charged accordingly within state laws.
- Q - Do you ship buses overseas?
- A - No. Midwest Transit Equipment does not ship used buses; however, there are a couple of shipping companies that will ship world-wide. Please contact a Used-Bus.com sales representative for more information.
- Q - What are the bus dimensions?

- Q - Do you arrange airport pick up for customers?
- A - Yes. Midwest Transit Equipment does offer this service. Please note: we need 48 hours notice in order to schedule a driver. Disclaimer: This service is subject to driver availability.

- A - Yes. As an authorized repair center, Midwest Transit Equipment services all makes and models of buses. See our bus service page for more details.
- Q - Do you sell parts?
- A - Yes. Midwest Transit Equipment maintains a $3 million parts inventory - one of the largest in the nation! We stock parts for every make and model of buses. Visit the bus parts page for more details.
- Q - Do you paint or apply lettering to buses?
- A - Yes. Midwest Transit Equipment runs a full-size paint booth. Please contact us for an estimate or for more information.
- Q - May I bring a mechanic to inspect the bus?
- A - Yes. Midwest Transit Equipment will allow a mechanic to inspect the bus; however, we will not allow your mechanic to do any work on our premises.
